Glenn Kline

Mr. Kline has approximately 20 years of private equity investment and
venture capital fund management experience.

With Mr. Ciannamea, he co-founded and is a Managing Partner of ACF and AVF II.  In this capacity, he is responsible for performing due diligence, making decisions on portfolio company investments, participating on boards of directors and contributing to overall portfolio company development.


Prior to ACF, Mr. Kline was an executive at Del Monte, a $1+ billion multinational corporation, where he served for five years as a member of the company's executive management team as Senior Director in charge of the Business Development & Strategic Planning Group, with responsibility for overseeing direct investments, merger/acquisition opportunities and new business ventures for Del Monte's global operations.

For more than five years prior to joining Del Monte, Mr. Kline held Associate and Vice President positions at Ventana Growth Funds, an international venture capital firm based in Southern California.  As Vice President at Ventana, he was responsible for organizing and managing the North America Environmental Fund (NAEF).  NAEF, a private equity investment fund, was co-sponsored by Nacional Financiera, S.N.C. (Mexico's largest development bank) and included Waste Management, PEMEX, and the Overseas Economic Cooperation Fund as strategic investors.

Mr. Kline received a B.A. from Pomona College (Claremont, CA), where he was president of the Associated Students of Pomona College; participated in coursework at Sophia University (Tokyo, Japan); and earned a M.B.A. in Finance from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at U.C.L.A. (Los Angeles, CA), where he was the recipient of the Young Presidents' Organization Fellowship.  

Mr. Kline is currently the the Chairman of Silicon Semiconductor and serves on the boards of directors for Silicon Semiconductor Corporation as well as on the advisory boards for the University of North Carolina--Chapel Hill Office of Technology Development and The Institute for the Study of Aging.
